Ever thought about how important communication is in our daily lives and in the life of a church? Clear and consistent communication is at the heart of building healthy relationships, driving success in business, negotiating peace and understanding between adversaries, and so much more. How we communicate with each other, both within our congregation, and outwardly to our extended community, paints a picture of who we are and what’s important to us as a church family. With that important objective in mind, the Session of IPC has elected to form a new Communications Team to focus on this critical area of church life.
Want to learn more? On Sunday June 4, your new IPC Communications Team will be hosting a special luncheon and presentation immediately after worship. All are invited and encouraged to attend, and lunch will be provided. Why should I go? What does this have to do with me? Communication involves everyone, and to develop and improve our communication tools and process, we need everyone’s cooperation and input. Besides, you might actually have fun and learn something new! Did you know that IPC now has a Facebook page? Did you know that IPC totally redesigned its website over a year ago and posts news and events and other important information on the site? Ever wonder how all of that information gets there? Come and learn all about what you’ve been missing and how we hope to build new and exciting communication programs that you can be a part of. Communication starts with you, so please join us!
